Who we are
HortiAtlas is run by UAB BENITA LT, company code 304061473, VAT LT100009499713, Žalgirio g. 122-4 a., Vilnius, Lithuania. We decide how the data below is used (we are the controller). Contact: hello@hortiatlas.com.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your nursery's name, the link to your Facebook page or website, your e-mail address, your country if you give it, and the time of your request.
- To build your page: information your nursery publishes on its own website and public Facebook page, such as its name, address, phone numbers, e-mail, photos, descriptions and the plants it grows.
- Only if you later connect Facebook: your Facebook Page's name, profile photo, public details and the posts you publish, read-only. We never see your password, private messages, ads or friends, and we never post, comment, message or change anything.
- Technical logs kept by our hosting provider for security.
Sources: you, your own website and Facebook page, and, if you connect it, Meta.
Why, and on what basis
To build your grower page because you asked us to, show it to you, publish it once you have said yes to it, and write to you about it. The legal basis is your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Keeping the service secure, and a single invitation message to a business, rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object to that at any time.
Who receives it
Your page is public only after you have said yes to it. Your sign-up e-mail is not shown on it. We use service providers who process data for us: Vercel (hosting and storage) and OpenAI (an AI that reads the text of your public website to draft your page). Some of them process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
While your page exists. If you do not say yes to your draft page within 60 days, we delete the request and the draft. We delete your page and your details within two working days of you asking. Data read from Facebook is deleted when you disconnect, when you ask, or when it is no longer needed. It is never sold.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object, by e-mailing hello@hortiatlas.com. You can also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or the authority in your country.
How to delete your data
E-mail hello@hortiatlas.com with the subject "Delete my page" and your nursery's name. We delete your page, your sign-up details and any data read from Facebook within two working days and confirm by e-mail. If you connected Facebook, you can also remove our access yourself: Facebook, Settings, Business integrations, Remove.
